Kyle has performed in Canada, the USA, Ireland, Italy, Austria, and Hungary, both as a solo performer and with various groups. He is the recipient of many awards, including most recently being named a winner of the Canadian Songwriting Competition. He is also a North American Irish Fiddle Champion, Canadian Open Duet Fiddle Champion, and has been a two-time finalist at the All-Ireland Fiddle Competition and Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Competition.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Ottawa, specializing in classical violin performance and composition. He joined the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra as its youngest member in 2011 and continues to play with the orchestra occasionally.

He has over 10 years of teaching experience, and currently teaches fiddle in Chelsea, QC, where he is the Artistic Director of Fiddleheads Musical Theatre.

He has recorded an EP with Emily Yarascavitch and Anthony Vial, entitled Branches of Silver, and is releasing his first solo CD, The Prism Within, in September 2017.
